Sandie Middleton is a pianist with experience in vocal, instrumental and choral accompaniment and repetiteurship. She gained an MA in Piano Accompaniment in 2015 at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama under the tuition of Richard McMahon, Zoe Smith and Simon Lepper. At RWCMD Sandie performed in the Chamber Music Weekends, Piano Profile Series, RWCMD Copland Ensemble, 2015 Orchestral and Choral Conductor’s Recitals, and many vocal projects including "Warlock in Wales", a song recital prestigiously performed for the Peter Warlock Society.
In autumn 2015 Sandie accompanied lessons and taught English pronunciation for singers at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatorio di Musica, Florence, Italy. Experience as a repetiteur and choral accompanist includes 2015 RWCMD Undergraduate Opera Scenes, Mozart’s Magic Flute with RWCMD, Opera ’Ddraig, Winterbourne Opera, Constanza Ladies Choir, and Cardiff University Symphony Chorus. Sandie completed a Bachelor of Music at Cardiff University, where she won the Elizabeth Griffiths Prize for her contribution to music making.
