Sam Tempest

Hi, I'm Sam. I'm a versatile live performer and recording artist, with a lifelong passion for live music and the drums. I'm a first class honours graduate of Leeds Arts University's Popular Music Performance course and aquire ten years' experience as a drummer, having performed 250+ gigs and toured as part of multiple ensembles varying in genre. I've worked with original artists such as 'Miranda Myles', function bands including current covers band 'Silverstone' and larger ensembles such as the 'Royal Northern College of Music's Wind and Brass Orchestra'. Some of my most recent performances include Boomtown Festival supporting punk band Sunhumans, touring Europe with original band 'China Shop Bull' and playing the Wharf in Manchester with function band 'GetBackBeats' As a recording artist and qualified sound engineer, I'm always collaborating with other musicians and producers to create exciting new music, sometimes working the sound for notable music venues such as as 'The Domino' in Leeds and 'One in Twelve' based in Bradford. I also produce educational videos, drum covers and record live performances for my online platforms, whilst teaching the drums in my spare time.
