Oboist
London

Roxana Seddon was a student at Wells Cathedral School, under the tuition of Elizabeth Fyfe. During Roxana's time there she was also given several masterclasses from Oboists such as John Anderson, Christopher Redgate, Gareth Holst, Melinda Maxwell and Chamber masterclasses from Richard Hosford. Roxana came runner up at the Wells Concerto Competition, gaining her a chance to perform a Gala concert with another student in March 2016. In September 2015, Roxana started her first year undergraduate course at the Guildhall School where she studies with Alison Teale (BBC symphony). Roxana has great enthusiasm for Chamber music. She plays in two very committed wind quintets, one of which gave performances and classes at the Saffron Hall earlier this year. She was a part of the Guildhall Ubu Ensamble in Christmas, and took part in performing Dvorak's Wind Serenade under Andrew Marriner. Roxana is also a member of this year's London Sinfonietta Academy which is led by Thierry Fischer. She aspires to be a professional Chamber and Orchestral Oboist after her studies at the Guildhall School. She teaches early grades of the Oboe and Piano.
