Violinist

Glasgow

usic has always been a large part of my life and I love sharing my passion with students and giving them the experiences and opportunities that I have had. I love teaching and the most important thing to me is that students enjoy lessons and playing an instrument. I have been teaching Violin and Viola for Glasgow City Council since 2015. I also have private pupils and have been teaching privately since being a student at RCS. I am more than happy to play anything students are interested in along with some technical-based work with solid technique and foundation. As well as teaching, I love playing and performing. I play in a Guitar/ Violin Duet 'The Buchanan Duo', a String Quartet 'Simple Strings' and I regularly play for professional paid gigs. I am also the Leader and Orchestral Manager of Glasgow Sinfonia.
