Nico is an international musician who has performed alongside some of London's most accomplished artists/ acts. He moved to London in 2012 from sunny South Florida, and has been teaching and performing live since then. Nico currently holds two degrees in music, and since moving to London has performed in over 10 different countries in Europe, South America, and North America. While on tour, Nico has supported famous bands such as The Kooks, Mystery Jets, Catherine Jenkins, Breakbot, Roosevelt, Marilina Bertoli, The Strypes, Toploader, Scott Matthews, and many others. He has also played alongside famous DJ's such as Tony Roberts, Tony Nichols and Paul Hardcastle Jr, to name a few. As a professional session musician, Nico has played large festivals has toured countless times abroad but when he is in the UK he performs with various Wedding, Corporate, and Party Function bands. These Include: MK & the Misters, The Entertainment Agency, The Go 2 Band, The Supreme Collective, The Blue Lion Band, Royal Blue, and also as a Solo/Duo Percussion/DJ act. If you're looking for a charismatic, energetic and talented percussionist, book Nico! His drums and energy made the dance floor come alive and had everyone dancing at our wedding. He is also a very friendly and charming man! Thanks Nico! Highly recommend!

MK & the Misters played at our wedding in April and were absolutely fantastic. All setting up and arrangements on the day were faultless, and the band were easy to work with, as well as being very polite and professional. The band were incredible and kept the dance floor packed from the first song to the last. Their wide ranging playlist has plenty to appeal to both young and old, and everyone was singing and dancing along. All in all our expectations were far exceeded by this amazing band. Excellent, 5 stars.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I've performed for Warner Brothers. I've also performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina opening for the Kooks in front of thousands of fans. I've played Festivals all over Europe and UK with various bands and artists.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be as flexible as possible and to make sure your events runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know i advance.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service for free, unless there's a DJ booked with me as a percussionist.

How much time do you need to set up?

30 minutes (solo percussion) 45 minutes (DJ, sax & percussion)

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. DJ playlist is an open DJ format, but you can request songs in advance.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument. I will also bring my own DJ decks and laptop for DJing gigs.
