Customer questions

We have found that as we enjoy our music making so much the audience do. That creates a pleasant atmosphere for everybody.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at Dartmouth House Mayfair, The Langdon Hotel Mayfair (Monthly), The Barbican and many private houses and gardens, and wedding venues throught London and beyond. Plus a huge amount of resturants.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

The saxophone player from the Brubeck Quartet is one of my main influences, along with tenor players Stan Getz, Ben Webster, Lester Young etc. With the Groove Warriors Dave Sanborn has been an influence since I wes 14.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Many Mayfair Hotels and Events Centres.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are able to play very quietly so as not to impinge on your event. Cool jazz is a wonderful background to any event. We can of course be more prominent if required.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide this service if required. For solo saxophone performances and the trio we do not use one, but if you require one for a short before and after the performance I can bring one. Fees apply.

How much time do you need to set up?

We can set up in 30mins. If the PA is used a little longer

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

You are more than welcome to choose tunes and make suggestions. We have access to many hundreds of jazz standards.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

We supply all our own equipment. Just need access to a power supply.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times and arranging etc.
