Lucy Haggerwood-Bullen

Lucy is a freelance violinist who graduated in 2018 with a Master of Arts from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She previously attended the University of Birmingham, where she achieved a BMus (Hons) degree, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama’s Junior department.  Since graduating Lucy has worked as freelance musician. She is experienced at performing at events such as weddings, parties, funerals and conferences. She is always professional, enthusiastic and organised. Lucy has excellent communication skills and understands how important it is to be able to answer any questions or sort any details quickly and effectively. Lucy is very happy to work with you to make sure you have the music exactly as you want it at your event. Lucy is an experienced orchestral performer. Lucy is currently the principal 2nd violin of the Ernest Read Symphony Orchestra. Other freelance orchestral projects include the Multi-Story Orchestra, Wilderness Orchestra and Bishops Stortford Sinfonia. During her training Lucy was fortunate to take part in projects alongside musicians from ensembles such as the CBSO, the Philharmonia and BBC Symphony and Concert Orchestras. As a soloist, Lucy has performed with the University of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and the Birmingham and Trinity Laban Chamber Orchestras, as well as giving many solo recitals.  Lucy enjoys bringing her passion and enthusiasm to every event she is part of, and knows she can help make your event extra special!
