Other broadcasts include an appearance on Norwegian radio in Oslo and a live broadcast at the Victoria and Albert Museum on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune. Laure is also keen on historical performance and took up the baroque violin under the guidance of Lucy Russell in 2014. She participated in the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment’s 2017 scheme ranging from small Baroque ensembles to large-scale Classical symphonic works and performing in major London concert halls such as Kings Place, St John’s Smith Square and Royal Festival Hall. Born in 1995, Laure began the violin at the age of five at the Royal Academy of Music in London continuing at the Junior Department with Yumi Sasaki. She joined the Royal College of Music as a Foundation Scholar in 2012. Presently studying with Radu Blidar, she is completing a Master in Performance as a John Lewis Partnership scholar. Laure would like to thank the Hattori foundation, Donald Paterson Fund, EMI Music Sound Foundation and Dorothy Croft Trust for their support.
