Jenkins & Alexander are a contemporary and unique duo based in West Yorkshire, with a passion for performing great live music. Emily began her carer as a classically trained flautist, attaining her Grade 8 with distinction at the age of 15. Since then, she has also become an accomplished saxophonist and performs alongside Tom and as a soloist at various functions and events. Tom has spent the last decade performing Motown, Pop, Funk and Soul both as a soloist and in various function bands. Having met in 2013, they used their combined years of experience playing at pubs, parties, weddings and private events to build an extensive repertoire of songs spanning through many genres of music. Whether you're looking for engaging background music or a lively party set to get everyone dancing, this duo would be the perfect addition to your event! Jenkins & Alexander can also be booked as a three piece with percussion.

We booked for evening entertainment at our wedding. They were very friendly and polite. A really lovely couple and very talented musicians. We wanted a duet for our intimate wedding and they didn’t disappoint. They can play songs and styles to suit the occasion and event. We would strongly recommend them.

brilliant set fab duo made the party special top class worth every penny

These guys are so talented, their playing bumped up a standard night in a pub to such a memorable event, and everyone turned their heads when they started playing. Plus the girl doesnt just play sax, she switched over to the flute in the middle of a song and it was amazing, would book them for my own event sometime.

Saw this talented couple at a local bar recently and they were amazing. Although it was just the two of them, the sound that they produced was outstanding. I loved the various genres and tempos and the whole room was dancing and singing along . I would definitely recommend this professional duo for any type of function .

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes. You have the option to book us as a duo, three-piece with percussion or as a full 4/5 piece party band.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. We provide music through our PA for free in between sets. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up around one hour before the performance time.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £20 for this service to take into account purchasing the music and rehearsal time.
