Pre-Improv song request
My speciality is improvisations which I usually perform on the spot. But for an additional fee I can compose something before the show. For pre-improvisations song requests, I usually ask for three ideas:
1) A famous Person,
2) An object
3) A Scenario
And I make a song from that.

How much time do you need to set up?
Shouldn't take more than ten minutes to set up
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Yes you may, in fact that would make my life a lot easier if Im playing songs people like to hear.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Depending on the gig, I can bring the basics of a PA but it would only be Cube Amp and a Mic stand, which is adequate for small venues. For a larger venue I would expect the organisers to supply a PA, which is kinda standard, if they are putting on regular entertainment. Saying that I do have access to larger PA gear but this pushes the price up.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Yes I can try but it depends. If Im expected to learn Joe Satriani or Van Halen thats probably not gonna happen but if its something simple, if should be ok.
My speciality however is improvisation, which means you can suggest three random ideas and I can combine them into a song.
