Originally from the Czech Republic, Jan relocated to the UK in 2019 to further pursue his music career. He has been performing since the age of 10 and toured most of Europe and also Texas, USA. Although he received a specialist degree in classical clarinet performance, Jan fell in love with the sound of the tenor saxophone and has enjoyed playing this beautiful instrument since. The experience gained in various bands and orchestras of all genres makes him an extremely versatile musician who can always adapt to any requirements. In 2021, he made a decision to focus on his solo career and has played at hundreds of parties, weddings, corporate events etc since. 2024 is the year of launching his own band, Holena Swing Company.

Brilliant set from Jan for our friend's 40th birthday party. He was extremely helpful when deciding on song list list and always replies to message promptly. Jan was very punctual on the night and friendly to all guests. I would most definitely recommend Jan to anyone looking for a sax player.

5 star!!! I booked Jan as a surprise sax player for my best friends engagement party. I needed strict instructions to follow, to make it an amazing surprise. Jan went above & beyond, speaking with our dj to make his entrance amazing. From the first point of contact, to the playing on the night it was amazing. We requested up beat party songs & he followed through. I will be hiring him again in the future & I would recommend him to anyone! Amazing service & fab music :)
