Originally from Greece, Eleonora Kouneni is a London-based singer-songwriter and jazz vocalist.   At the age of 16, she started writing and regularly performing her own songs at bars in Athens and Greek islands. She also participated in concerts and festivals in Greece, the most prominent of which was the 16th Anti-Racism Festival (Athens, Greece, 2012), where she opened for legendary greek vocalists Maria Farantouri and Savina Yannatou.   She moved to London in her early twenties to pursue a career in music, where she fell in love with jazz. Since 2018, Eleonora has been establishing herself in the London jazz scene, performing in various London bars and venues, including the Vortex Jazz Club and the Green Note.   In 2022 she released her first two singles, "Stay" and “Effortlessly”, both of which were commended in the UK songwriting competition. Her debut EP "If You Just..." will be released in spring 2023.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. We can offer a playlist service for free between sets. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

We're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works best for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! We always bring our own instruments, microphones, cables etc, and can also provide a PA system, upon request.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I am always told that I make them feel through my singing.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Multiple pubs and bars in Athens, Lefkas and London. I currently have a residency at Jazz After Dark, in Soho.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I performed my own compositions at the 16th Anti-Racism festival of Athens in 2012, opening for one of the most respected Greek singers, Maria Farantouri.
