Alongside professional ochestral, solo, and ensemble performance, I also have a strong passion for session music - bringing joy to people through music is really important and incredibly meaningful! I have been playing the violin for 16 years now, and am currently studying at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, after having completed a 10-year course with the title of Maestro at the 'Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia' in Rome, Italy. I really enjoy arranging and performing all kinds of music - since moving to Manchester I have expanded my musical horizons and have been experimenting with many different types of music. Although my specialisation is Classical music, I am enthusiastic about and play all kinds of music: from Pop, Rock, Jazz, to Folk, I have been practicing these styles and performing them at wedding gigs throughout England! Some of my favourite performing highlights have been playing at a wedding set on a beautiful Italian lake, playing electric violin with a 12 piece function band at another wedding, and perfoming in the Leeds University Session Orchestra with my quartet. I enjoy both solo and ensemble performances and wish to bring people some joy through my music!

Elena was amazing! On the run up to our wedding I gave her quite an extensive playlist and she went out of her way to learn as many of the songs as possible. She was very professional and my guests absolutely loved her. She is very talented and made our day very special x

I requested for Elena to play "Hey There Deliliah" whilst I proposed to my girlfriend in Chester in December. Elena was fantastic and her violin playing really made the proposal romantic and special. She was professional and friendly throughout all of the communication and I would definitely recommend booking her!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I put lots of thought and emotion into the music for your event to try to make your day as special as possible! I am friendly and easy to talk to and work with - I can easily play songs by ear if requested and will try to accomodate your wishes as best as possible.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed in several towns and cities in Italy before moving to the UK, such as various churches in Rome, by the sea in Diamante and on Lake Vico. I have performed at various weddings in England (specifically Manchester), such as The Kimpton Hotel, The Ivy, Manchester Hall, The Midland Hotel, and Bents Garden Centre.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I've been influenced my classical violinists like Janine Jansen, Maxim Vengerov, and Patricia Kopatchinskaja. In Pop/Funk/Rock terms, I've been influenced by Chaka-Khan, Pink Floyd, Motown, Dua Lipa, Earth Wind and Fire, and Daft Punk.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I performed at a high-profile event in the Kimpon hotel as part of a band, with about 300 guests.

Do you have different line-up options?

As I am only one person, the line up is fairly straightforward. However, I am surrounded by musicians who will be happy to join me as a Duo, a Trio, and even a Quartet. Naturally more people will require different fees upon request.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly just let me know!

How much time do you need to set up?

As it is an acoustic instrument I will just need 15 minutes, if you need amplification I can use my own pickup and amp, and in that case I shouldn't need more than 30 minutes.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course! The lists are a suggestion, I also accept personal requests and requests on the day too.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically and my music. If you want songs with a backing track I may have to ask for a PA system, or I can bring my own amp.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I will do my best to learn the specific song requests! If I am asked in advance it shouldn't be a problem, I should be able to do it within 24hrs too. In the latter case, there is a fee of £20 for this service.
