Singer (soprano)
Birmingham

Hello, I am Bryony and welcome to my page. I am a trained classical soloist based in Birmingham, West Midlands. I love to sing Classical, Opera, Folk and Soft pop. I am experienced in singing for Weddings, Funerals and Corporate events. I enjoy being creative by listening to all genres of music. I am trained in 'Classical Vocal Perfomance', and also record covers from various genres, at my piano. My passion is creating beautiful, meaningful, moments of music. I want my audience to understand the narrative of what I am singing. I take inspiration from artist 'Eva Cassidy' and Folk genres while singing more modern styles. My love for singing began as a Chorister at Arundel Cathedral, West Sussex. During my time at Arundel I was Head Chorister, and completed my ABRSM and RSCM singing grades. I went on to further my singing with a Bmus (Hons) undergraduate degree 'Vocal Performance' degree, from 'The University of Chichester Conservatoire'. My love and study of singing grew with recieving a scholarship for a postmasters degree, graduating with a 'Masters of Arts' in 'Vocal Performance', from the 'Royal Birmingham Conservatoire'. I love perfoming alongside other musicians too. I am experienced in perfoming with Orchestras, Opera Choruses, Choirs, Quartets and Duo's and as a Soloist. I have been priviledged to sing in some beautiful settings, from Cathedrals to Stately homes and Castles. I want to share the joy of song. whether it be a happy or solemn occasion. If you would like me to perform for your special event, please get in touch, by clicking the "send message" button in my application. I will happily answer any questions you may have. Kind regards, Bryony

Bryony sung for my father's funeral, she sang all of his favourite pieces that I asked for. Bryonys voice and professional gentle manner made the service everything I wanted it to be for Dad.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know as soon as you can.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No, I do not offer this kind of service.

How much time do you need to set up?

30-45 minutes prior to the event taking place, to set up or top and tail songs with organist/pianist if required.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Sound amplification is not usually required in a church setting, unless backing tracks or musical accompaniment is required. However all equipment required can be provided depending on specific requirements.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes I can. I require at least a weeks notice to learn and prepare any new repetoire.
