With a sophisticated repertoire of Jazz and Classical tunes, with a strong Latin flavour, Ariel and Luiz present a highly evocative performance combining exciting rhythms, alluring melodies, virtuosity and colour. Their repertoire includes well-loved classics of the Brazilian MPB genre, such as choro and bossa nova, as well as classical standards and original compositions. Having received training from the Royal College of Music and Berklee College of Music respectively, both Luiz and Ariel are award-winning musicians who have come together to bring this unique, fresh and exquisite take on instrumental guitar music.

I booked the Duo for a concert in our local hall, as I'd heard they were amazing. They really are a classy, sophisticated and well-rehearsed Duo with such a wonderful Brazilian repertoire. They are both great musicians in their own right, and together they are even better! I don't think there is much Brazilian music at this level outside of Brazil. Amazing! Highly recommended!

Not only is the music incredibly good and creates a great atmosphere - they deserve the label 'virtuoso' - but they are also very nice, accommodating and professional people to deal with. Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

We always perform as a Duo (both on guitar). We could add a vocalist if required, for an additional fee.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are always happy to be as accommodating and flexible as possible. If you are able to give us as much notice as possible for any changes, that makes it much easier too!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

This isn't something that we can do, unfortunately.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up 1 hour before our performance.

Can you roam around while you perform?

As we both sit down to play, roaming around isn't an option for us.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You are welcome to make specific requests from our repertoire.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We can provide a PA if necessary.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are happy to learn a specific song for you, however there in additional fee of £30 for this to take into account additional rehearsal times.
