I am a professional harpist/pianist based in the Forest of Dean. I specialise in traditional celtic music. Available for weddings.

Originally from Abergavenny, I am a harpist and pianist and love being part of couples weddings. I got married recently so know how it feels to plan a beautiful wedding. I enjoy performing traditional folk music on the Welsh lever harp, and can also sing in Welsh. I arrange pop music for the harp including madness, Ed Sheeran and Kylie. I enjoy writing my own songs and have supported Trembling Bells at the Musician in Leicester. I have played at many festivals including the Leicester Riverside Festival and Folk on the Lawn, Tintern. I can provide a calm and tranquil atmosphere for your event. I have played at a variety of wedding venues from private gardens to castles and absolutely love my job. I am also a classically trained pianist. I have a wide range of repertoire and specialise in the music of the romantic composers such as Debussy and Chopin. I also enjoy playing Pop and Jazz standards. No piano at your venue? I have a digital piano I can bring to your event. I am also an experienced organist and can play your hymns in a church wedding.

Anna was absolutely wonderful. She contacted me a few weeks before the event to find out more details and adapted her music choice to reflect the occasion. My mum and friends ended up singing along to some of the Welsh hymns that she played! Anna arrived exactly on time and pitched the volume of her music exactly to a level whereby people could chat whilst also enjoy listening to her lovely playing. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Clients seem to enjoy my choice of harp covers. I love arranging pop songs from the 80s and 90s for the harp.

I’ve supported Trembling Bells at the Musician, Leicester. I’ve played on the River Stage at Folk on the Lawn Festival in Tintern.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I am flexible to time changes in your event. Let me know if things have changed so I can help to make the day run smoothly.

How much time do you need to set up?

I always arrive an hour in advance to set up my harp as I can give the best performance when I am at ease and not rushed.

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Yes, I’ve included all travel costs in your quote.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

I can play outside as long as the weather is fine.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

You can pick whatever tunes you like from my set list. I have a wide range of music for you to choose from.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I am happy to learn up to three new songs for your event. Just give me plenty of advance warning so I have time to practise.
