Andy played at my 50th birthday party at our local pub. I can honestly say he MADE the party. Stress free communication and set up, Read his audience brilliantly, nailed some last minute requests and got the entire place on their feet. Absolute value for money and then some. thank you Andy .

I booked Andy for a 50th birthday party. He was extremely professional, responding to emails promptly and dealing with all of my requests, including learning new songs to please the birthday boy! He arrived and set up on the night in plenty of time and the gig was amazing! He really got the crowd going and everyone was up dancing. Lots of people commented after about what a great voice Andy had and how fantastic the music was. Some people even asked for a card so that they could book him for their events! Would highly recommend Andy and would definitely book him again in the future

I’ve booked Andy for Launderette Sessions for what seems like years. He always delivers and always brings the audience with him. Without exception Old Cinema Launderette punters love him. He is absolutely professional and is super easy to work with. He is always welcome here. His Paul Heaton/Beautiful South/Housemartins show always gets the sell out crowd going. He also put together an alternative 80s rock and pop show which proved very popular too

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I love to get people up dancing and singing, certainly by the end of the sets and organise music to habe this build. I’m very confident involving people in the show but also happy to be “background music” if required. I like to add a bit of cheeky humour to proceedings but always aware of being respectful

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Have performed at festivals (Northern Kin, Stone Valley, Volkspower, Mosborough Music Festival and more) and dedicated music venues across the UK from Newcastle City Hall and many other O2 Academy venues to function rooms and pub/club type gigs

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

The Beatles, The Smiths, The Clash, Paul Heaton (Beautiful South and Housemartins), Rolling Stones, Stone Roses…

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Numerous Headline gigs at O2 Academy venues. Also Mathew Street Festival in Liverpool

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I can usually work around this given enough notice and will always try to accommodate requests within reason.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Playlist playback can be offered before and between, yes. More traditional DJ services would incur extra costs depending on requirements

How much time do you need to set up?

Depending on load-in etc I can usually be set up within 30 minutes of arrival. Sometimes much sooner.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely. I’m open to requests too although a maximum of 3 “new” songs within the standard rate is applicable. More than that or wholly themed sets would require and additional negotiated fee.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. I can cater for up to around 100 people depending on venue size etc. larger audiences would require a larger PA and incur extra cost if I needed to source this.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I do have more songs in my repertoire than in the list so just ask. If I’m already fairly familiar with the song then there is no extra cost and I’m also happy to learn a couple of songs within standard fee. This can all be discussed on request
