Since completing her training at Birmingham Conservatoire, Rachel has had several performing opportunities such as with the CBSO and Midland Opera for their production of "L'Elisir d’amore” in the role of "Gianetta". She has also been performing with operatic ensembles throughout the UK for Opera Galas and Masquerade Balls. Outside the UK, Rachel also has had opportunities singing in Malaysia, such as with the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre for their production of "Messiah". She was also invited to perform with the Singapore Lyric Opera in their production of "Les Contes d'Hoffman”. Rachel also won first place in the Malaysia Youth Orchestra Foundation (MYOF) Singing Prize. Rachel has also attended the Pro Musica, International Workshop & Master Class for Vocal Training & Opera, run by opera staff from Flanders Opera Studio. Rachel grew up with music. She had piano lessons from an early age and found her passion in singing. She completed her singing qualifications with Trinity College London, London College of Music and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music whilst pursuing her degree in Arts and Humanities. She obtained a place in Birmingham Conservatoire's postgraduate programme in 2012 and went on to be a finalist in the John Ireland Prize, perform in the summer Liederabend and the spring opera, "Il Trittico” by Puccini.
