About Wingfield Quartet

As experienced chamber musicians from BBC NOW, we are as equally at home with classical recitals as with light classics, jazz etc.

The group originated as a group of musicians who met socially to play the rich chamber music repertoire for fun. The e­­­­­­njoyment factor is still paramount in the group's concert performances. All of our musicians are experienced with studio recording and have worked on many TV and film productions.
