I am a musician from Leicestershire who currently plays acoustic covers gigs around the Midlands as well as pursuing a career as a songwriter. I am interested in performing at any events needing a solo acoustic guitarist/singer with a broad range of well-known cover songs. We booked Will for our summer fete at a BUPA care home. His prices are exceptional value for the quality of performance, with guitar, keyboard and singing, all of which are of a very high standard. Will Underwood was hired as a performer at Realfest, an arts, crafts and music festival. His performance was impeccable and attention to detail perfect. He is a talented musician which the crowds love. Will was also asked to conduct a guitar workshop which was very successful and professionally run by Will. He has a great ethos and we would hire him again.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem. Please just message to let me know as soon as you’ve found out about any changes regarding times and I’ll do my best to work around your requirements.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I have a full PA system with an input for iPod/phones etc (or also via a Bluetooth gadget I sometimes use) on the mixing desk. I can either use my own standard playlists or any music of your choosing! Unfortunately I’m no DJ myself. If you would be interested I can check with friends who are DJs to see if you would like to jointly book us.

How much time do you need to set up?

My set up takes roughly 30-45 mins on average depending on the venue and accessibility. This varies depending on equipment needed, for instance setting up electric guitar and amp, or keyboard/piano will take a little longer than just acoustic guitar, microphone and PA.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

I am very flexible regarding song selection and often craft set lists on the fly using a combination of tunes rattling around up there and what I have saved to tabs on my iPad which I can use as a prompt. If you have any suggestions let me know ahead of time, or if it comes to it shout out between songs and I’ll do my best to accommodate!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes! I make sure to bring my PA, mixing desk, acoustic guitar(s), microphone(s), stands, cables and extension leads at a minimum. If you would like either electric guitar or piano as part of my set then let me know and I will make sure to bring these to set up also!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Many songs can be learnt to some degree rather quickly and I’m happy to accommodate these requests. For any songs where you might specify a certain version which would require further practice I can let you know if this will incur extra rehearsal time for which there may be a small fee of up to £20.
