The Paper Songbirds

The Paper Songbirds are a professional duo, well-known for combining elements of the traditional vocal harmony singing of country, folk, pop and classical music, in a polished, contemporary production. Officially established in 2015, The Paper Songbirds comprise of Lizzie and Stephanie, two talented and experienced singers with a shared passion for music and performing and a combined experience of over four decades within the industry. With a vast repertoire, encompassing many decades and genres of music, The Paper Songbirds are able to design and create a bespoke set list, tailored specifically for you and your guests. This makes each performance a unique, innovative and unforgettably intimate experience, making them a perfect choice for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, private parties and corporate events. The musical influences that contribute to these two singers are diverse and extensive. Stephanie trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in classical opera and operetta, Lizzie has studied musical theatre and contemporary and classical jazz. This means, coming from different performance backgrounds, they each bring a broad repertoire which, when combined, creates an individual style and sound. Using high-quality acoustic guitar, piano and live band backing tracks, their beautiful arrangements are amplified through a compact, high-powered portable sound system with exceptional quality.
