Regina is a Portuguese soprano who is currently in her Second year of Undergraduate studies with Susan Waters at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her first musical studies were in piano and choral singing. Regina graduated from Porto Music Conservatory with a distinction in Classical Singing. As a choral singer, she has been part several international competitions. As a soloist, Regina has won several competitions in her country, including the National Competition of Singing in Portugal, in 2013 and 2014, Bomtempo's Competition in Portugal, in 2014 and the International Competition of Singing, Fundão – Portugal, in 2013/2015. In her career, Regina has performed some operatic roles, such as Sevadilha in Guerras de Alecrim e Mangerona by António Teixeira da Silva, and Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, by Henry Purcell. Regina has worked with renowned teachers as: Sarah Walker, Richard Jackson, Dinah Stabb, Adrian Thompson, Eugene Asti and Joan Patenaude-Yarnell.
