Peter is a proficient cellist, and a very active composer - now based in London. As a cellist, he is a competent sight-reader, has experience with instrumental doubling (Cello-Viola, and Cello-Bass Guitar), and also has experience with improvisation. Has experience playing in all styles from early Renaissance Viol music all the way up to Contemporary, Jazz and Popular music. As a composer, Peter always strives to create music that sounds either novel, or at least very well-crafted, above all using his experience as a performer to inform his compositional choices - thus ensuring that his works are practical, yet also are enjoyable for musicians to perform as they are for the audience to listen to. Peter is also a skilled orchestrator, and claims to be able to arrange any piece of music for any group of instruments. Peter Graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2016 with a First Class Honours Degree in Music, and is now studying for a Masters in Composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under James Weeks.

Peter did a great job playing with Camden Symphony Orchestra and I'd certainly book him again.

There was no sense of anything other than impending doom... ...That being said [The Angel Maker] is a powerful piece and something that sounds contemporary and vital - not something all modern opera does.

...[T]here is no denying the incredible potential and solid musical ideas of this gifted young composer. He will be a person to watch out for in the years to come, mark my words.
