As a supplier to many venues throughout Worcestershire and the surrounding counties, I enjoy entertaining guests in a variety of settings whether for an intimate ceremony or a larger scale corporate event. Many business clients including The Royal Centre for Defence Medicine and Rudell the Jewellers ask for me regularly, to enhance their evenings with my live harp music. Meredith was absolutely great! Right from the booking confirmation up until after the wedding, her communication has been fantastic. She was constantly in touch with me before the wedding and thoroughly discussed details of my brothers wedding and her play list. She was very polite, calm and sweet to talk to. On the wedding, she played so beautifully and created a lovely atmosphere for us and our guests with her excellent harp skills. I would definitely recommend Meredith for any function/event or weddings. She has an extensive selection of music she can play including bollywood. I know I shall be booking her again in the future. Couldn't praise Meredith enough - she played for our wedding and was wonderful. Brilliant communication beforehand, so helpful with music choice & the lead up to the big day (it was such a weight off my mind to know that the music was in good hands!). Then on the day, music choice was perfect, she worked in the few songs I knew I wanted (just not sure when) wonderfully and she made sure she spoke to us at the end before she left to check we were happy with everything and congratulate us. Would definitely recommend for any event you have coming up!

We had Meredith play at our wedding for both the ceremony and the drinks reception 12th October 2020. She has been an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to end. Extremely polite and professional in all of our communications. And most importantly her music added a wonderful dynamic to our wedding day. Being a mid-covid wedding, we were limited to only 15 attendees, but having the live harp there being played so beautifully really lifted the atmosphere of the day. I was particularly impressed with the diversity of her repertoire; from Pachelbel to Elton John to Metallica! All expertly arranged and performed. We can not recommend her enough! 😊🎼

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will be as flexible as possible to suit your requirements. However if I already have a second booking on your date, I will naturally honour it and must charge you accordingly.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually arrive 1hr - 90mins beforehand to give time to meet you or your co ordinator, park, move my harp and gear and be ready to play for you.

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Yes, I include all travel expenses in my quote for you.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

No thank you. I don't play my valuable instrument outside, so an outdoor ceremony wouldn't work for me I'm afraid. For a drinks reception, I'm happy to sit by open patio doors and use my amplifier, should you and your guests be out-of-doors.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

For a wedding ceremony, I will give you some suggestions of music which, from many years of experience I know work well. For a civil ceremony, registrars do not allow any religious content, so of course I can guide you here. Also, I have an extensive range of different musical styles and songs and am more than happy to discuss what you would like.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

There is a vast range of music that suits the harp well, and some that really doesn't! If I feel your chosen song will adapt to the harp, then I'd be happy to transcribe it for you for £20 - £30 depending on the time it takes to write. I will of course do my very best to make your song come alive for you!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I arrange much of my own music especially for the harp, and so it is unique to me. Clients are genuinely amazed at my adaptations, and thrilled to hear their favourite songs reproduced on the harp

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Over the years I have performed at many, many venues including churches, registry offices, stately manor houses, hotels, resaurants, art galleries and council chambers. Most notable venues in and around Worcestershire are The Wood Norton, Hagley Hall, Compton Verney, Cripps Barn, Pendrell Hall, Trinity House Paintings, Nationwide to name but a few.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I'm a classically trained professional musician, and so am equally at home performing classical music, modern pop covers, traditional Scottish, Irish & Welsh songs as well as Bollywood songs, Disney classics and "golden oldies" to suit most tastes

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have performed many times both in small groups and symphony orchestras at "Prom" concerts in the Royal Albert Hall
