About Leonore

Leonore is a postgraduate music student and keyboard player at the University of Manchester.
Pianist
Manchester

I started learning the piano at the age of six in France. In 2011, I began taking lessons at the Musikhochschule in Freiburg, and was then selected to perform at a Franco-German friendship event in April of that year. After obtaining my Grade 8 on the Piano in 2012, I moved to Manchester to pursue an Undergraduate degree at the University, from which I graduated in July 2015. I am a keen performer, and regurlarly perform on both piano and harpsichord alongside my postgraduate degree. During my time at Uni I have had the opportunity to take part in many performances, both as a soloist and as an ensemble player. Highlights of recent years include a performance at the RNCM's John McCabe Piano Marathon in 2014, and performances at the Rochdale Parish Church in 2015 and 2016. Forthcoming projects include a collaboration on a new piece for harpsichord and symphony orchestra with RNCM composer Amir Sadegi. I am currently studying piano with Manola Hatfield and harpsichord with Julian Perkins.
