A student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and dance, Lawrence has has been involved in all aspects of the music world. By the age of 11 he had performed in 3 West End musicals, (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Les Miserables and Mary Poppins). His songwriting took him to Paris to win the Young Singer-Songwriter Competition at 14, and now he is writing musicals performing cocktail piano evenings and playing keys for function bands at high end London venues such as 'The Hippodrome, Leicester Square' and the 'Arts Club, Mayfair'. Lawrence is delighted to be involved in such a fun friendly function band like 'The Smooth Groove' and is hoping to continue is ambitious lifestyle.

Lawrence really 'got the gig' and understood the client brief. he was prompt in all comms and provided me with the ammo i needed to send to the client. he had the kit, arrived an hour early and was overall top notch.
