I started off DJing clubs and hosting my own show on the radio (shows can be found on via iTunes) but I now run my own business - DJ Jay Q Music, providing entertainment for high-end weddings, corporate clients, private events and bar residencies in London. I also DJ abroad in Spain and Croatia. I'm currently one of the resident DJs at Flight Club, which was voted "Best Night Out in London" by DesignMyNight. I'm also the official after-show DJ for the National Lottery Awards. My other residencies include All Bar One, Slug & Lettuce and Pitcher & Piano (among others). In 2014 I was chosen to DJ the official ‘wrap party’ for the premiere of The Inbetweeners 2 movie, with all the cast in attendance. I'm proud to be an "approved supplier" for high-end venues such as The Gherkin, The Dorchester, Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hyde Park, Twickenham Stadium and Oval Cricket Ground.

He didn’t even do the booking as he cancelled less than an hour before...and I only knew he wasn’t coming because I had to call him. He was very unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend

Jason was brilliant, he judged the (wide age range of!) the crowd at our wedding brilliantly and the dance floor was constantly busy. My only compliant was that he didn't go on for long enough but that was our fault for going on too long with the speeches! Highly recommend....

He Came to The QueenVic Lloret de Mar (Spain) to cover for our resident DJ for 1 week. He was great! He listen to all of our suggestions and had the people going on the dance floor in no time. I highly recommend Jay.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I'm not a band, so no - as this is essentially what I offer as a whole package!

How much time do you need to set up?

It takes me about 30 minutes, but I try to arrive at the venue 45-60 mins before the performance/disco time...

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes, I welcome and encourage clients to send me playlists and requests in advance of their favourite tracks/artists..

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes absolutely! I'm "self-contained" so come with speakers, sub-woofers, lighting effects and a professional back-lit DJ booth

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

No need, as I'm a DJ not a band. But I can put together tailored mini-mixes, as in the past some couples have asked me to do a mega-mix of the first dance e.g when it goes from say a slow Ed Sheeran or Adele ballad, and then into a big pumping dance number for them to bust their moves to!
