Hailing from the small town of Dorking in Surrey, David Coslett is a UK top 10 singer-songwriter. In 2016 David released his ‘Work of Art’ EP that charted at number 7 on iTunes with popular single ‘For The First Time’. Since then he has gone and launched Grey Stone Records, which is an artist development company with the aim to support under the radar musicians and singers alike.
From a young age music became a main passion, from learning various instruments from piano to drums. David credits Chris Martin from Coldplay, Ross Copperman and Gavin Degraw, as his main musical influences. Over the past few years David started his own mini-tour series around the UK that had the notable name of ‘The Living Room Tour’, in which he performed intimate gigs in supporters living rooms.
July 2015 saw the official release of ‘Breakthrough’. The EP was widely acknowledged and well received by his growing fan base both nationally and internationally. Since the release of ‘Breakthrough’ David has toured the country in notable cities, with sold out audiences of loyal supporters. He extended his run of ‘Breakthrough’ gigs to Europe, where he travelled with several other musicians to perform in Poland and France.
More recently, David has just released his brand new single ‘Alive’, which was track of the day for BBC introducing the week of release.
