Colin was born in Belgium and brought-up in a classical music environment. In the late nineties, he moved to Manchester to study a HND course in Sound Engineering at Salford University and since then has been involved with many different bands as a Performer, Composer and Music Producer. His love for music started when he worked as a Sound Engineer at The Salzburg Festival in Austria with American avant-garde Theater Director Robert Wilson and with Belgian Composer and Film Director Thierry de Mey. In 2006, Colin worked and performed with the bass session player Herbie Flowers on Rockshop Projects at The Dartington International Summer School. In June 2011, he graduated with a First-Class Honours Ba (Hons) in Music at Salford University. In November 2013 he has been awarded the degree of Master of Arts by Research at The Huddersfield University in recognition of a programme of work entitled 'Composing for Instruments and Electronics; a commentary on my recent music'. Colin is now living in Manchester where he runs his own Music and Video Production Studio: The Polygon Studios. Currently, he is working as a session musician for various projects. He is also working on his first Can Guru? Album (electronica, trip-hop and hip-hop) and his third Maxwell Watts Album (americana, soft-rock, pop-folk).

'An excellent musician, Colin was lead tenor in my big band outfit for just over 6 months. Even in that short amount of time, he brought the standard of not just his section up by way of sectional rehearsals, but by doing so also brought the standard of the whole group up with it. Really nice guy and he worked very hard on his playing and always helped out other players to improve, was gutted when he moved to Berlin. Would highly recommend as both a player and composer.'
