I'm a musician based in York, UK, working across all sorts of different platforms. In 2018 I graduated from the University of York Music Department with a Distinction 1st Class Honours Degree, and, thanks to a couple of scholarships, I just completed an MA in Music Composition. My Composition is largely within the contemporary classical realm, but I also often collaborate with directors and producers to create music for TV, Film, and Games, and write jazz charts for various ensembles I'm involved with. In terms of performance, I'm most frequently found at jazz jams playing piano or trumpet, in theatre bands, or playing keyboards for Paul McArthur's Kings of Cool, a professional 11 piece jazz/funk/groove ensemble that I co-founded with my father. On top of both of these things, I'm an arranger, transcriber, music educator, and occasional conductor - plenty of things to keep me occupied! Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'm happy to accommodate some changes wherever I can - if timings change in the run up to the event, let me know as soon as possible and I'll do my best!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes - sometimes for an additional fee, depending on the circumstance.

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually, somewhere between 1hr - 2hrs before the performance starts is a good amount of time, to make sure everything's in place and working correctly!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, although if a venue can provide PA/Lighting, this is something we'd like to factor in to our plans/costs!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

This depends on the piece! Get in touch and we'll work out what's possible!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Piazza della Signoria, Florence - I played trumpet, closing an international festival with an orchestra in late August. A crowd of approximately 2000 people was present!
