Anna Caban is a violinist born in 1989 in north-east Poland. She started her musical journey at the age of 7. A strong urge to explore the unknown made her travel to the opposite part of the country for Bachelor studies at the The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. Her guides at that point were professors Janusz Skramlik and Krzysztof Lasoń. After starting the Master’s Degree at the Academy in Katowice she decided to commence a new expedition, to London, and went for Erasmus exchange at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. After fruitful year of collaboration with professor Krzysztof Śmietana she decided to stay for the Postgraduate Orchestral Artistry Course at Guildhall which also gave her exceptional opportunity to learn from the London Symphony Orchestra players. She graduated in 2014 with generous support of the Kathleen Trust.
