Trombone Anibal Hernández Anibal recently graduated from Western Michigan University with a Master’s Degree in Music majoring in trombone where he was a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Prior to his studies in WMU he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music. Thru his musical career as a freelancer Anibal has performed with various Latin-American artists, and Broadway musical productions in the US and Puerto Rico. As a soloist Anibal has received various awards including Winner of the Sanromá Interdepartmental Competition at the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, Soloist with the Puerto Rico Youth Symphony Orchestra and Finalist at the 2014 Western Michigan University’s Concerto Competition. Also has been a Participant in several prestigious trombone seminars in the United States.As an educator prior to Marshall Music Anibal was a trombone instructor and band/ orchestra assistant conductor for the Preparatory division of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, Music 100x35 Program and working as a coach for the Puerto Rico Youth Symphony Orchestra.
