Andy Davies is a freelance Pianist and Musical Director with a wide range of professional experience. He graduated from studying Music at the University of Manchester in July 2017. Andy's recent work has included a contract for Princess Cruises as House Band Pianist, Musical Director for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at St Helens Theatre Royal and pit musician for the Hope Mill Theatre production of Pippin. Amongst this, Andy has performed for various other shows, gigs and functions as well as regular accompaniment work. As a pianist, he has excellent sight-reading skills and is extremely versatile in the music that he is able to perform. Whilst at university, Andy maintained a busy performing schedule, performing as an accompanist for many singers and instrumentalists as well as as a solo performer with his own personal classical repertoire, developed whilst studying classical piano under Duncan Glenday. Alongside this, he worked frequently with the University of Manchester Musical Theatre Society (UMMTS) as a pit musician and Musical Director and gigged across the North West which he has continued in his professional life.
