Ambra Sorrentino is a harpist and a cultural manager for music and theatre performance.  She regularly performs both as soloist and in ensemble. Recent venues and events were: St Clemens Danes London, St Gabriel's Church London, Villa Fondi Sorrento, Gran galà di Villa Doria d’ Angri, Università Parthenope, Napoli; Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano; Teatro Diana di Nocera Inferiore; Teatro Verdi di Salerno; Teatro San Babila, Milano; Salotto culturale numero 7 di Posillipo, Napoli; Le porte dell´arte, Pompei 2011 e 2012; Giffoni Film Festival 2009 e 2010; Salotti Urbani 2009 e Fonderie Culturali 2009  in Baronissi; Borsa del Mediterraneo del Turismo archeologico di Paestum, 2009; Teatro Augusteo di Salerno; Casino Sociale del Teatro Verdi in Salerno; Paola International Chamber music festival 2007  and 2010. In this last occasion she won a prize for chamber music in duo with cello.  She successfully took a Bachelor degree in Visual arts, music and performing arts disciplineswith the highest mark at the Faculty of foreign language and literature of the Salerno University. Her final dissertation was on the Musical Dramaturgy of Donizetti´s Maria Stuarda. In July 2013 she concluded her Master degree in Economics and management of cultural heritage and performing arts at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan with a final dissertation on International Management of opera theatres. In October 2014 she took a Harp master diploma at Conservatorio di Musica “G.Martucci” in Salerno, with M° Lucia Di Sapio. She also studied musical composition with the internationally renowned M° Lucia Ronchetti and she is First solo harpist in the Conservatoire orchestra. At the Conservatorio di Musica in Salerno she took an intermediate Diploma in Music sheet reading, a Diploma in solfeggio, theory of music, history of music and harmony. She was student for Orchestra practice, Chamber music and choral music. She improved her musical skills under the guidance of Emmanuel Ceysson and Julien Marcou (harpists at Opéra de Paris), Elisabeth Fontan-Binoche, Park Stickney (Jazz harp), Sara Simari, Luc Bergè, Georg Beckmann, Monika Frohlich, Martin Loritz, Mayumi Kamata, Karin Wolf (chamber music).
