Adam is a highly experienced pianist and keyboards player, with a degree in Jazz Studies from Leeds College of Music & a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance from Salford University. With over 20 years of live work he is adaptable to perform in any setting from small events to tours and theatre shows. Past gigs have included Ronnie Scott’s jazz club, Old Trafford FC, numerous theatres, the Hilton Hotel, a tour of Russia with the Mike James Orchestra, many festivals and lots of private events such as weddings and corporate entertainment. He is also available to direct shows, conduct bands, arrange music and produce audio recordings for any occasion.

We can't thank The Rumour Mill enough. We booked them as our wedding band, and we are so happy we did. They smashed it!!! They were incredible and all of our guests had so much fun. The whole band are very talented and Janelle's voice is stunning, one of the best I have ever heard live. The song choices had everyone dancing and enjoying themselves, we had so many of our guests saying how brilliant they were. They also learned songs we requested such as our first dance, and again they smashed it. The Rumour Mill played a massive part in making our day so special, thank you so much!

We can't express our thanks for last night. The whole band were outstanding from start to finish. The organisation leading into the wedding was so easy and straightforward and we couldn't have been happier. So many of our guests mentioned how good you were and many said it was one of the best live gigs they had ever seen. Last night you really brought the feel good factor and completely made our night. The first dance was something we will never forget so thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Lots of love Nathan

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We’re happy to accommodate timing changes & be flexible as we understand weddings can be fluid in their timescales sometimes! Don’t worry if you need to adjust times, just keep us posted.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course; we’re happy to play your favourite tunes from iPod, just send us a list in advance.

How much time do you need to set up?

An hour.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes; as long as it’s been recently tuned.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, we normally do.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We’re happy to learn a first dance and a second song request if it’s not on our list. Any extra new requests are £50 each as we have to spend extra time rehearsing them.
